Joining the Brit Iron Rebels
If you're on this page, then perhaps you have an interest in joining the Brit Iron Rebels. Good for you! Before you continue with your membership enquiry please ensure that you have read the About Us section and that you meet the following basic criteria.
To become a BIR member:
1. You must currently own a true classic or retro British motorcycle - *see below
2. Your bike must be in running order - basket cases do not count
3. You must represent the BIR in a respectable & appropriate manner
4. You must pay a one-time membership fee of $25 (US)
5. You must gain sponsorship from active BIR members - *see below
As a member, you receive:
1. Full-time access to the Member Only Internet Forum.
2. A membership card
3. A membership patch
4. Access to buy club related gear (t-shirts, mechanic shirts, and more)

*British Classic & Retro Styled Motorcycles Defined:
All new Triumph motorcycles that come under the 'classic' range except for the cruisers (Speedmaster, America and Rocket III), all Norton America produced motorcycles, Royal Enfield motorcycles, CNW Norton produced motorcycles. If your motorcycle does not come under these lists or if you wish to discuss compliancy of other models not mentioned here, please contact us to discuss it.
*Membership Sponsor Details:
Potential members must meet with active BIR members and participate in at least 3 local clan events, in a minimum of 3 months before they can be considered for sponsorship. Potential members are also encouraged to participate in the BIR Forum. The BIR prides itself on the caliber and quality of its members and these methods are the best way for us to get to know you and the best way for you to get to know us. Once sponsored, membership is granted by vote of the BIR members. If you meet all the above criteria, and you're cool, you'll get in. See, that wasn't so bad, was it?
